Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ONX Systems ("ONX", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and products.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to provide our services:
- Account details: your name and email address when you create an account.
- Purchase details: order history, product licences, and subscription status. Card details are processed by our payment provider and never stored by us.
- Support content: anything you send us via quote requests, bug reports, ideas, or feature requests.
- Usage data: basic analytics about how the website is used (pages visited, device type) to improve the product.
Our desktop applications (such as ONX Assistant) are local-first. Your chats, notes, calendar, and knowledge base stay on your computer unless you explicitly enable an online feature.
How we use your information
- Provide, maintain, and deliver our products and licences.
- Process payments and provide receipts.
- Respond to your support enquiries.
- Send important service messages (order confirmations, security notices).
- Improve our products and website.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
We use trusted third-party services to operate the business, including a payment processor (for handling card payments), authentication and database hosting, and email delivery. These providers only receive the information they need to perform their function.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
Data retention
We keep your account and order records for as long as your account is active, and for as long as required by law after that (typically 7 years for tax and accounting purposes).
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe as required by applicable law.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is ever 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
